Work That Heals, Community That Lasts

New Leaf Recovery at HarvestBox Farms, a HOPE program, pairs honest farm work with a twelve step community.

Sober on entry, no detox provided.

Participants earn W‑2 pay with credential bonuses while training in aquaponics and poultry operations.

Who We Are

New Leaf Recovery Farm is the residential recovery and work program located on the HarvestBox Farms campus.

We combine a structured twelve step rhythm with paid farm work and skills training. No detox is performed here, participants must arrive sober and remain sober, with random testing to protect the community.

The program is funded by HOPE. We do not seek outside funding.

Partners may collaborate on training, supplies, and procurement.

How The Program Works

  1. Arrival, sober verification, intake, and orientation.

  2. Housing assignment, 20 beds for men and 20 beds for women.

  3. Weekly twelve step schedule, sponsorship encouraged, meeting attendance required.

  4. Paid W‑2 farm work across aquaponics and poultry operations, safety training day one.

  5. Skill tracks with stackable credentials, aquaponics technician, poultry handler, farm operations

  6. Bonuses for milestone credentials, attendance, and safety.

  7. Graduation planning with job placement support and housing transition guidance.

Housing

Clean, safe, gender specific housing is located on the farm campus.

Each resident has a bunk, secure storage, shower access, laundry schedule, quiet hours, and a shared commons.

Curfew and check in are enforced.

Visitor policy is controlled.

Zero tolerance for substances and violence.

Work and Pay

Participants are employees on W‑2. Pay includes an hourly wage, a modest weekly stipend, and milestone credential bonuses.

Payroll taxes are withheld, workers compensation is covered, and safety standards are enforced.

Experience is documented for employer credibility.
